Marla Kirban, Owner

Marla Kirbin Marla Kirban graduated from Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts with a BA in Theater Education and a minor in Speech. She was then a Theatre and English teacher at Stratford High School in Connecticut. After raising a family, Marla started her second career when she moved to Los Angeles, working for Jeff Danis at ICM for seven years as their in-house Voice Over Director. At ICM, she worked with talent such as Jane Lynch (Glee, Best in Show), Stockard Channing (The Good Wife, Grease), Megan Mullally (Will & Grace), Ana Gasteyer (SNL), Robert Cait (voice of Duke the Dog from Bush's Baked Beans) and Jim Cummings (voices of Winnie the Pooh and the Tasmanian Devil.) Marla returned to New York City to start her own voice over studio, where she trains, directs, and provides guidance for many aspiring voice over talents - amateurs and professionals alike. She has done audition coaching for talent including Meg Ryan, Harvey Keitel, David Strathairn, Eric Stonestreet, Julia Stiles, Frank Langella, Val Kilmer, and Jason Patric. Marla's connections with industry professionals such as Agents and Casting Directors, and her honest, straightforward approach, make her one the most sought-after voice over coaches in the country.
